INSTRUCTOR

Jerry Rusnak
Jerry Rusnak has more than 40 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, spanning service, supply, operations, and academia. He began his career as a wireline field engineer before joining an independent exploration and production company as a field engineer, where he managed wellsite drilling, completion, and workover operations. He subsequently advanced to the role of Drilling and Completion Manager, overseeing multiple simultaneous drilling and completion projects across U.S. onshore operations. By the end of his 15-year tenure, he was serving as the company’s Exploration and Production Manager. During this period, the company experienced significant growth, and its E&P division was eventually sold to a major independent operator. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Ocean Engineering from Florida Atlantic University. He is an active member and past Section President of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and holds, or is eligible to hold, the major certifications required for wellsite operations both onshore and offshore.
