COURSE OVERVIEW
PetroTeach offers a five-day course on Integrated Production Data Analysis and Modeling, designed to address the key parameters encountered daily by production engineers.
The course provides a systematic approach to constructing a production database, performing QA/QC data checks and validation, and evaluating production data for well surveillance, problem identification, and solution development.
In addition, the concepts of Rate Transient Analysis (RTA) and Pressure Transient Analysis (PTA) are reviewed. Participants will work through a real well test case to gain practical, hands-on experience in PTA interpretation. The course concludes with a comprehensive case study on integrated production modeling, allowing attendees to apply the techniques learned in a realistic field scenario.

INSTRUCTOR
Instructor Profile
Instructor is a highly proficient petroleum engineer with experience spanning operations, research, and consultancy environments. He has a strong technical background in classical and analytical production data analysis, integrated asset modeling, flow assurance, well and reservoir performance evaluation, well integrity, artificial lift systems, field development planning, data acquisition strategy, economic evaluation, IOR/EOR screening, production optimization, and reservoir management.
He worked with PETRONAS Research from 2011 to 2016, contributing to several Gas EOR and WAG optimization projects for major Malaysian fields. He has demonstrated expertise in integrated fracture network characterization, comprehensive sieve analysis for sand control design, and numerical pressure transient analysis.
He holds M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Petroleum Engineering and has developed three technical tools: Ensemble-Based Coreflood Modeling, Production Optimization, and Numerical Pressure Transient Analysis (NPTA).
FAQ
DESIGNED FOR
The course is quite fit for the production engineers who work on daily (monthly) production data and are responsible for monitoring wells’ performances an surveillance. It is very useful for the reservoir engineers who are accountable for preparing data for well modeling, PTA, material balance and reservoir simulation as well.
