PetroTeach, in cooperation with Antaeus, offers this 5-day course to provide participants with practical competency in petrophysical interpretation using newly developed cloud-based software. Participants will gain both theoretical understanding and hands-on experience in formation evaluation. The course introduces data interpretation workflows using the GeoFit™ petrophysics module. The GeoFit™ collaborative platform is a secure, cloud-based solution specifically designed to meet the needs of the oil and gas industry. The course objectives include developing competency in open-hole logging data acquisition and formation evaluation. It covers key aspects of logging operations, including logging environments, data acquisition, quality control, and data interpretation. Through a combination of presentations and practical exercises, participants will learn how to perform quick-look formation evaluations. The GeoFit™ software package is used throughout the course to apply theoretical concepts to real datasets.

She is a specialist in Geosciences with over 22 years of technical, scientific research and software development. She holds a PhD in Geology and Petrophysics from the Aix-Marseille University. Her work experience includes 10 years as a research scientist in the frame of the International Ocean Discovery Program and was a teaching assistant at the University of Montpellier. Her research was focused on the physical properties of the oceanic crust using wireline data and core data from the Oman ophiolite. During her 10 year tenure with Schlumberger, she was a wireline petrophysicist domain champion for the Caspian region, a Global Training Manager for well-centric software and a domain champion for surface logging in Brazil. She has been teaching numerous courses at all levels covering geology, logging data acquisition, petrophysical interpretation, and software training. Her current role is with Antaeus Technologies as Senior Software Support for Geofit platform.
