o Pressure Control Equipment (PCE) principles

Day 2: Slickline Operations – Theory

o Overview of slickline operations

o Slickline job workflow

o Well control and barrier principles

o Lubricator and valve concepts

o Wire mechanics

o Typical failures and incidents

o Job planning and documentation

o Job program structure

o Post-job reporting basics

Day 3: Slickline BHA – Hands-on Workshop

o Workshop HSE and safe working practices

o Slickline BHA definition and configuration

o Dismantling and visual inspection

o Correct BHA assembly sequence

o Thread engagement and use

o Functional checks

o Example BHA configurations

o Tool handling, storage, and maintenance principles

 

Day 4: Basic Slickline Operations & Well Control – Simulator

o Simulated rig-up and pre-job checks

o Running Slickline BHA in hole

o Depth correlation and tagging

o Monitoring line tension and tool response

o Application of weight and basic jar operation

o Setting, pulling, opening, and closing downhole equipment

o Pulling out of hole and securing the well
