COURSE OVERVIEW
This is a 5‑day course that starts with an overview of fluid behavior and contamination mechanisms, followed by detailed coverage of corrosion control, scale management, emulsion treatment, hydrate inhibition, and souring control. The course then addresses chemical injection systems, monitoring techniques, troubleshooting methodologies, and chemical program optimization, supported by oil & gas field and plant case studies.
This course provides participants with in depth technical knowledge of chemical treatment systems used throughout oil and gas production, processing, refining, and downstream operations. The course focuses on the selection, application, monitoring, and optimization of production and process chemicals to control corrosion, fouling, scaling, emulsions, hydrate formation, souring, and environmental compliance. Practical field examples, troubleshooting techniques, and best practices are emphasized to ensure safe, reliable, and cost effective plant operation.
