COURSE OVERVIEW
This five-day course is designed to provide a solid understanding of drillstring components and the principles of drillstring design. The program offers a comprehensive treatment of drillstring design, with emphasis on preventing operational problems and minimizing equipment wear. Design methodologies are presented in accordance with API recommended practices for design and operating limits, as well as the DS-1 standard for drillstring design and inspection.
Industry standards are incorporated as training references to complement the course material, ensuring participants gain a thorough understanding of drillstring components, design principles, operating limitations, inspection requirements, and best working practices.
