LEARNING OBJECTIVES

At the end of the course you will be able to understand the key aspects of the well and will have a clear view on what is involved in well design and well production optimization. You will have a better understanding of the selection criteria for well size, artificial lift and sand control completions. Special attention is given to integrated field development and operations in order to achieve a balanced reservoir/wells/surface facilities interplay aiming to assure efficient reservoir drainage, optimal well performance and effective separation of gas, oil and water. The course will be highly interactive and uses real life problems, including various syndicate exercises.
